PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The primary purpose of the Analyst is to produce various reports and analyses of claims data for all focused plans. The position includes producing reports, detailed analysis at varying levels of claims data, analyzing data for trends, as well as various reporting projects. Analysts are also responsible for creating/editing reports using the tools available, working with clinical departments, monitoring provider reimbursements, and providing reports for various departments. The Analyst will also be responsible for formal presentation of reports and analyses to physicians, clients, and various internal customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Health Informatics, or Business.
· Desired Skills:
o Proficiency in Excel
o SQL programming is a plus
o Knowledge of health care terminology is a plus
· Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
· Ability to interact with multiple departments in a team environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· This is a remote/work from home position.
