Support senior bankers on the deal team and be actively involved in all day-to-day aspects of the deal execution.
Help clients achieve goals by creatively analyzing collateral and structural features for a proposed CMBS transaction.
Perform loan and portfolio-level analysis on prospective securitization transactions to determine rating agency and investor feedback.
Assist in developing all transaction documents including term sheet, offering memorandum and collateral data tape.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the syndication/marketing process and secondary market trends that may affect deal execution.
Assist in developing pitches for prospective clients, create due diligence reports and track transaction and market data on an ongoing basis.
Actively collaborating to successfully achieve team goals and do what is right for the customer.
6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
1+ year Investment Banking Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) experience
Professional experience with a focus in finance, real estate or capital markets
Knowledge/experience in any of the following: fixed income capital markets, CMBS and/or ABS securitization, commercial real estate underwriting, CMBS rating agency criteria, or CMBS accounting due diligence also viewed as a plus
Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative work environment
Strong ability to interact with senior executives and clients
Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, including accounting an finance function in excel
Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry
Ability to work additional hours as needed in order to meet business and client needs
Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted

Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
- Base pay range for this position in New York is 110,000 - 125,000 USD

Wells Fargo is seeking an analyst who will be expected to assist in the securitization, structuring and execution of Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) fixed and floating rate transactions, single borrower transactions as well as Agency and Commercial Real Estate Collateralized Loan Obligations ( CRE CLO) transactions. The candidate will work on deal teams intricately involved in all facets of the securitization process, creating pitch books, models, due diligence reports, negotiating legal documentation as well as assisting in the sale/distribution of CMBS bonds. The position will support senior bankers on the deal team and the candidate will be actively involved in all aspects of the deal execution.

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CRF 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification.
