      American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the B2B payments division of American Express, enabling businesses globally to pay for and finance what they need to grow their businesses. GCS provides a suite of payment and lending products, solutions for travel and everyday business spending, cross border payments, global currency solutions, and business financing.
      GCS Strategy, M&A, and Alliances (SMA) team plays an integral role in defining, developing, and leading new strategies, inorganic growth (M&A), partnership (Alliances) opportunities, as well as managing Annual Investment Planning, Opex, Strategic Engagement Team to accelerate our overall 3-year strategy and vision. Within SMA, the Strategic Alliances team is tasked with bringing high impact commercial partnerships to market.
      How will you make an impact in this role?
      • Third Party Due Diligence and Compliance
      • Provide ongoing monitoring of TLM / quarterly assessments
      • Assist with Internal Control testing (PRSAs) and submitting required documentation
      • Assist with Internal Audit and other Exam inquires and requests
      • Collect policies and other documentation as needed from prospective and existing partnerships for onboarding and ongoing monitoring activities
      • Maintain documentation and contracts in each partner repository
      • Submit prospective and existing partner intakes to third party governance for new engagements
      • Coordinate Information Security assessments with partners and consultants
      • Register new partnership engagements in the Data Governance platform

      Project and partner management support:

      • Summarize external industry trends impacting Strategic Alliances/the fintech industry
      • Support Manager in partner marketing approval execution, ensuring that all partner marketing is approved and coordinate with enterprise compliance teams to receive approvals
      • Partner with analytics teams to monitor and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to the team on performance
      • Provide project management and administrative support as needed
      • Provide contracting support to Alliance Managers as needed, including the preparation of legal documents

      Database Support and Administration:

      • Oversee data quality and integrity of Alliances Salesforce Platform and provide support to partners via the Portal support channel

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • 1-2 years of relevant experience
      • Motivated self-starter with superb organizational skills and the ability to prioritize amongst multiple tasks
      • Strong analytical skills and ability to glean insights from data
      • Interest in partner management

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Bachelors degree in finance, technology, business or a related field
      • Familiarity with Confluence, Archer, Process Unity, and Salesforce applications
      • Interest in the fintech industry/B2B trends a plus

      Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

      The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
