      About the role:

      As a Supply Chain Analyst you will contribute towards the effective functioning of the cash management supply chain by applying analytical and various process management techniques, identify cost saving methods and ensure effective operational planning and execution of the cash value chain and life cycle

      Our ideal candidate has:

      • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering/ Logistics or Similar
      • 2+ Years of experience in a Supply Chain and Logistics related Environment (FMCG, Manufacturing)
      • Previous experience in resource planning and scheduling
      • Data visualisation tools and technologies
      • Advanced Office

      What you will be doing:

      PLANNING, FORECASTING AND SCHEDULING

      • Responsible for making the relevant adjustments to the client demand forecasts, in line with the short to medium-term environmental variables and influences.
        • Verify and adjust daily system recommendations to align with market influence.
        • Inventory buffer profiles and level determinations.
        • Identify trends relating to areas in forecasts that needs to be adjusted, and address discrepancies on system-level.
        • Raise adjusted forecasts at forecasting committee to inform managerial decision making.
      • Determine resource requirements based on the forecast and conduct resource capacity planning to ensure timely movement of cash.

      EXECUTING AND EXPEDITING LOAD PLAN

      • Track progress of orders (cash deliveries to devices) and monitor vendors or stakeholders (suppliers / technical teams / maintenance teams / property teams) to determine delays.
      • Escalate discrepancies or delays to relevant parties to resolve.

      VERIFICATION ANALYSIS AND REPORTING

      • Identify trends in service delays (internal and external) and process deviations. Propose solutions to optimise resources in the longer term.
      • Monitor performance of vendors / third parties against Service Level Agreements (SLA) and raise poor performance to Management.
      • Analyse statistics relating to cash availability across devices and report on performance.
      • Analyse, compare and verify cash planning inputs vs. outputs in line with agreed targets. Highlight discrepancies and propose corrective action to support operational decision making.

      CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

      • Support Manager: Cash Planning with data and analytics to motivate suggestions for improvement and prioritisation of solutions.
      • Work with Manager: Cash Planning and provide data that will inform continuous improvement of Cash Planning Processes.
      • Actively participate and deliver analytical support during cross-departmental / cross-functional projects and Initiatives
      • Take ownership of allocated small-scale end-to-end process enhancement initiatives (operational in nature).

      STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

      • Engage with stakeholders inside and outside of the Function, and build effective working relationships that will support the achievement of Cash Planning and Management objectives
      • Support the Head: Cash Management with data and analytics during Reserve Bank interactions.
      • Educate relevant internal stakeholders across the Bank on Cash Planning initiatives, and clarify roles and responsibilities in order to execute on commitments and project deliverables.
