      Overview of the Role

      Reporting to Director - Integrated Business Planning, this position would provide analytical rigor and insights to drive efficiencies in the company’s supply chain across planning, sourcing and distribution for the Canadian Division.

      This is a 1 year fixed term contract position

      How you will make contributions that matter:

      • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other tools to track supply chain performance and provide insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

      • Own analytics and lead data analysis and synthesis. Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement.

      • Collaborate with functional counterparts to gain a deep understanding of supply chain requirements. Collect, develop, and implement data-driven strategies to optimize the supply chain and reduce costs and working capital.

      • Coordinate efforts with functional leaders on initiatives to implement changes.

      • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in supply chain management and apply them to our operations as appropriate.

      • Ensure that decisions from the meeting are being executed in each function/department/team. Work with process owners on required escalation items

      • Maintain helpful and positive communication style with all Saputo staff.

      • Supports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P.’s quality standards.

      You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

      • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Analytics or related quantitative field

      • 3-5 years of supply chain planning experience related to the dairy, food or consumer packaged goods industry

      • Strong analytical background with a sound understanding of statistics

      • Ability to thrive in a highly manual MS Excel based work environment.

      • A dvanced analytical tools such as RStudio, Python and PowerBI

      • Certification in SCM, project management or general operations management through APICS considered an asset

      • Certification in Lean six-sigma is an asset

      • Experience in inventory planning, warehousing and logistics is an asset

      • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data and strict deadlines

      • Strong communication skills as well as meeting facilitation and presentation skills a must

      • Bilingual English / French is considered an asset
