- Assist associate and senior team members with originating, structuring, pricing, negotiating, and distributing debt transactions
- Drive the preparation of customized proposals, pitches, and presentations to clients
- Oversee financial modeling, cash flow analysis, term sheet development, and credit/capital market presentations
- Drive the preparation of offering and marketing materials for investors
- Work with credit professionals on negotiation of transaction legal documentation
- Interaction with clients and investors at a senior level
- Knowledge of debt capital markets including High Yield, Subordinated Debt, and Private Placements products is a plus.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information and help develop innovative client solutions.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior client management, investors, and senior members of the firm
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Exam Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
- A background in Syndications and Leverage Finance is a plus
- 1 plus years of experience in Commercial Banking, Investment Banking or Capital Markets in a Financial Institution.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and marketing skills
- Ability to work as a team player interacting with a variety of deal members with in a financial firm.

As a Syndicated Finance Analyst in Middle Market Banking, you will be expected to perform as a fully contributing member of the Syndicated Finance Group and will be exposed to a variety of industries and businesses. SFG analysts provide relationship and analytical support to SFG associates and originators in the origination, structuring, pricing, negotiation, and distribution of debt financings.
The Syndicated Finance Group is housed in the Commercial Middle Market and is responsible for working on complex financial situations involving syndicated and leveraged transactions for middle market clients. The Syndicated Finance Group team works with clients to provide insights into debt capital markets for corporate capital requirements, including working capital, capital projects, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations. As the leading corporate debt house, JPMorgan holds commanding leadership positions in these product specialties. Transactions involve significant interaction with bankers, underwriters, and client executive management.
