      About the Role

      The Capital Markets & Treasury team supports Brookfield’s investment and portfolio management activities across Brookfield's Infrastructure, Real Estate, Private Equity and Renewable Power platforms in the APAC region.

      This role offers the opportunity to work on structuring and executing financing solutions across various asset classes, supporting acquisitions and portfolio management. The role involves collaboration with deal teams, portfolio companies, senior stakeholders and external financing providers, offering exposure to various industries and complex capital structures.

      Responsibilities

      • Collaborate with deal teams to optimise capital structures and drive financing strategies.

      • Support the sourcing, structuring and execution of debt capital solutions including bank loans, public bonds, private credit facilities and asset backed financing.

      • Assist in due diligence, drafting and preparing materials to present to banks, credit investors and other financing partners and help manage data room and the Q&A process.

      • Assess financial models and provide debt overlays to evaluate financing options.

      • Assist in debt documentation and transaction closings, including coordinating with legal, financial and operational teams.

      • Monitor debt capital markets trends, maintain databases of financing benchmarks and market activity and assist with internal reporting.

      • Assist with preparation and implementation of risk management initiatives.

      • Build relationships with management teams of portfolio companies and assist with ongoing financing requirements including acquisitions, refinancings and other capital structure initiatives.

      • Develop relationship with internal stakeholders and external partners including banks, credit investors and consultants.

      Qualifications / Experience

      • Must possess a tertiary degree that includes one of the following: Finance, Commerce or Economics.

      • At least 2-3 years of debt products (project finance, leveraged/structured financing, corporate lending, capital market) or debt advisory experience.

      • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

      • Sound financial modelling skills, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

      • Basic understanding of financing and risk management strategies.

      • Detailed oriented with strong analytical and qualitative skills.

      • Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask.

      • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

      • High ethical standards, personal integrity and a strong sense of accountability.
