Based on trends, identifies root causes of inbound activities inefficiencies at the DC by reviewing inbound fluctuations, overseeing priority receiving to mitigate impacts on service levels by liaising with Carriers, Suppliers and/or DC Operations.
Analyzes, and measures the effectiveness of Inbound Logistics, assesses risks, and develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable improvements.
Via the SIOP, encourages optimal communication and visibility with DC Operations to ensure on- time delivery of products. Partner with DC Operations to ensure inbound activities align with inbound DC capacities.
Acts as a liaison between his/her/their regional DCs and other procurement operations teams to highlight improvement opportunities.
Stays informed of best-in-class business practices to establish benchmark data and processes for continuous improvement of business procedures and efficient performance of inbound activities.
Collaborate with Supply Planning and Inventory Optimization teams to adjust replenishment parameters where necessary to improve on-time and receiving efficiency.
Initiate Continuous Improvement initiatives within its regional focus to maximize Inbound receiving efficiency.
Attends cross-functional meetings to represent Inbound logistics and/or Procurement Operations.
Contributes to the adherence to the Supply Chain Guidelines by internal and external stakeholders.
In partnership with Supply Chain Performance department, support the SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) process by contributing to the preparation of supplier performance scorecards and performing trend analysis on activities that impact key performance metrics (i.e. on-time delivery, quantity accuracy, product availability)
Supports Supplier reviews in collaboration with Supply Chain Performance and proposes action plan to improve Supplier performance.
Drive collaboration and mobilizes stakeholders in seeking and implementing process improvements to manage MCS from suppliers.
Maintains relevant business and logistics knowledge of supply chain processes and stays abreast of market and industry trends and conditions.
Contributes to the organization’s objectives by coaching his/her/their regional DCs to a culture of excellence.
Acts as a McKesson ambassador of corporate values.
4+ years of experience in logistics, operations, inventory management and/or procurement. Education
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
Retail/Wholesale/warehouse experience an asset. Technical Skills
Perfectly bilingual, both written and spoken business communication.
Good knowledge of MS Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Visio and PowerBI).
Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals.
Demonstrates the ability to solve complex problems and create effective and innovative solutions in order to develop solid strategies
Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, focused, rigorous, and committed to meeting deadlines
. Strong ability to handle multiple activities at the same time and operates under pressure to meet aggressive timelines.
Demonstrated ability to perform in a cross-functional team environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Inbound Logistics, the Supply Chain Inbound Logistics Analyst, is an active contributor to overall supply chain efficiencies for activities pertaining to the Procurement Operations Department, and is responsible for receiving and inbound performance. He/she/they is responsible for implementing best in class practices and strategies related to Inbound Logistics processes as well as order and product flow management from suppliers to distribution centers. The Supply Chain Inbound Logistics Analyst works collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders, including the National Transportation Team, Supply Planning, Promotions, Banner Category Management, DC Operations, Supply Chain performance, 3PL and Carriers to ensure prompt on time delivery and high inbound fill rates. The incumbent will support the implementation of new tools, information technology, processes, and metrics to drive efficiency gains.
