      Why you'll love this job

      • This job is a member of the Revenue Accounting Team within the Finance Division.
      • Responsible for reporting and analyzing data related to travel agency processing, operations and fees, as well as assisting in identifying process improvements

      What you'll do

      • Provides in depth analysis of processing volumes, including issue identification and root cause analysis

      • Develops dashboards and reports to summarize and communicate operational metrics

      • Works closely with internal teams to coordinate resolutions on production problems, cost reduction initiatives and reporting/policy/fraud issues

      • Builds consensus with other internal departments such as Sales, aa.com, Information Technology, Legal, Cobrand, and Marketing

      • Serves as a liaison to the Payment product delivery team related technology projects

      • Assists with transaction level processing such as rejects and exceptions

      • Provides in depth analysis of processing volumes, including issue identification and root cause analysis

      All you'll need for success

      Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

      • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other relevant field or equivalent experience/training
      • 3 years related work experience in similar field/position

      Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

      • Master's or other Advanced degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

      Skills, Licenses & Certifications

      • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. (in-depth knowledge of Excel is required)
      • Thorough knowledge of Alteryx and SQL preferred
      • Willingness to take initiative and ownership
      • Ability to logically structure analysis of complex issues and develop solutions to business problems and operational challenges
      • Ability to create process documentation
      • Ability to manage multiple relationships and projects, prioritizes opportunities, and take initiative towards achieving common goal
      • Outstanding organizational skills
      • Able to build relationships and interact productively with various departments and all levels of management
      • Work in a team environment as well as be successful independently
