      Job Summary:

      This role is primarily responsible for supporting lead underwriters in analyzing and closing financial transactions and performing asset management functions with a focus on a broad range of energy and infrastructure debt investments, including power, renewable energy, midstream, upstream and general infrastructure.

      Job Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Analyze and develop financial models and projections with a focus on identifying risk factors and creating cohesive business cases.
      • Assist lead underwriters in due diligence, including performing market, industry and company research.
      • Assist in preparing credit requests and other supporting documentation for internal approval process and internal reports.
      • Assist in managing portfolio accounts; including performing valuation analysis for projects and companies, assessing compliance with performance metrics, assisting in the evaluation of borrower’s consent and/or waiver requests and maintaining deal management information systems.
      • Assist in preparing quarterly portfolio review material presented to senior leadership.
      • Support Capital Markets efforts in utilizing back leverage funding facilities, assisting in managing data request for rating agencies, populating lender data rooms, and coordinating repurchase facility lender requests and diligence.
      • Identify and execute process improvement projects.

      Knowledge and Skills:

      • Familiarity with project finance, loan and equity products, preferably in the energy and infrastructure industry.
      • Strong financial statement analysis, financial modeling and valuation skills. Ability to develop financial models based on commercial terms and structures of projects.
      • Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Intellectual curiosity and ability to identity risks and mitigants.
      • Strong initiative with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to be a team player.
      • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

      Education and Experience:

      • 1-2 years of experience in Finance or Energy.
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other quantitative subject.
