      The Analytics and Business Intelligence Intern supports the Analytics & BI department in delivering timely, accurate, and meaningful information to customers across the network using a variety of data and tools.
      This internship combines practical hands-on experiences, job shadowing, skills training, and at least one keystone project. Enrollment or recent graduation from a relevant four-year degree program is required, along with demonstrated critical thinking, attention to detail, professional communication skills, and a demonstrated interest in healthcare data analysis.
      This is a hybrid position offering a combination of remote work and on-site experience at our Allentown office. Optional local short-term, furnished housing is available for rent at Northampton Community College.

      JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
      1. Assists Analytics team in providing quality customer service to users throughout St. Luke's University Health Network by supporting the creation and distribution of accurate, timely, and accessible information

      2. Completes all assigned training, projects, and tasks in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
      3. Develops and maintains working knowledge of data, technology, and the business of healthcare as appropriate
      4. Maintains confidentiality of data and proprietary Network information at all times, in strict accordance with all organizational policies and legal/regulatory requirements
      5. Complies with all Network and departmental policies including but not limited to safety, security, attendance, and dress code
      6. Demonstrates/models the Network’s Service Excellence Standards of Performance in all interactions


      REQUIREMENTS

      Analytical and critical thinking skills required. Demonstrated interest in healthcare analytics. Classwork or work experience in data analysis, business/financial analysis, database management, or related topics preferred. Experience with MS Office preferred. SQL or similar experience a plus. On-the-job training provided.

      EDUCATION: Bachelors degree or current enrollment in a relevant degree program required

      WORK SCHEDULE: Day shift Monday-Friday. This is a hybrid position based in Allentown, PA.
