Strong numerate degree or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge through industry experience
Excellent analytical skills with extensive experience of handling, analysing and reporting on large data sets using tools such as SQL, R, Python
Ability to manage and develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Experience in mentoring and coaching junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development
Working independently or as part of a team to deliver outcomes
Starting salary between £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity – 10% of annual salary - Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s

Analytics Manager

A bit about the job:
This position offers the opportunity to an analytics team at the centre of innovation and transformation in the Aviva Health business in how we work with our healthcare suppliers to optimise our over £600m claims spend a year. You will have a crucial role in helping build our understanding of providers who offer our customers the best quality of clinical outcomes and simplicity of patient journey, while balancing sustainability of cost and affordability.
You will help lead on activity with analytics to shape and deliver on projects covering topics such as supplier selection, pathway management, operational efficiency and cost leakage detection. In addition, you will be a key business partner working seamlessly across the Aviva Health business to build relationships and provide expertise to deliver great business outcomes where communication and influencing are a must.
