Partner directly with Product Operations leadership & R&D stakeholders to surface tooling pain points, reporting gaps, and automation opportunities.
Facilitate stand-ups, backlog refinements, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies, reinforcing best practices and highlighting data-driven improvements.
Convert stakeholder feedback into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans for delivery by internal technology partners; maintain a prioritized, living backlog.
Coordinate demonstrations, user-acceptance testing, and post-release reviews to ensure enhancements meet agreed-upon business outcomes.
Communicate upcoming tooling and AI capabilities in clear, business-focused language, ensuring Product Division employees understand value and change management.
Work in partnership with Product Operations Analytics leadership to refine, scale and automate analytics pipelines powered by OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini; auto-generate analyses, stakeholder summaries, and enriched metadata with zero manual touch
Track accuracy, response time, and cost per insight; roll out incremental, data-driven improvements that keep raising quality while controlling spend
Deliver proactive insights throughout the product development lifecycle to product management stakeholders .
Stay on top of emerging athenahealth Enterprise Technology capabilities, experimenting early and socializing wins across the team.
Build quick-start guides, lunch-and-learn decks, and short video demos to drive end user adoption and business outcomes for all new tools.
Draft detailed proposals that show how AI automations or data-model tweaks will save time and improve accuracy; present findings to leadership for buy-in.
Excellent communicator, thoughtful team player, highly adaptive, and a strong sense of personal integrity
Strong grasp of Scrum and Kanban, including coaching teams, facilitating ceremonies, and tracking agile metrics
Familiar with work-management and collaboration platforms such as Jira, Confluence, and git repositories, and able to write clear configuration and automation requirements
Proficient in SQL, ideally Snowflake, and comfortable building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau
Experience using Python or JavaScript to prototype automations, perform data-quality checks, and integrate APIs
Working knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, and approaches for evaluating accuracy, bias, and safety
Clear communicator who can translate technical details into plain-language training materials and documentation
Skilled at designing and interpreting A/B tests, defining success metrics, and iterating quickly based on data
Proven ability to build relationships across Product Operations, data teams, and IT, influencing priorities without formal authority
Bias toward action, curiosity, and self-directed learning.
Bachelor's degree in information systems , Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
3- 5 years of professional experience in tooling enablement, DevOps coordination, analytics, or similar roles within a software-development environment
At least 2 years working with agile teams, including coaching or facilitation of Scrum or Kanban ceremonies
Practical experience partnering with central IT or platform teams to enhance work-management and collaboration tooling
1 or more years applying natural language processing or large language models in a business context
Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and business-intelligence platforms, with a track record of building stakeholder-facing dashboards
Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, Atlassian certifications, or Snowflake certifications are a plus
Reduce manual administrative effort for Product Operations teams by 25% – 40% through well-targeted automations.
Speed up decision cycles by replacing one-off slide decks with standardized, self-serve dashboards that refresh automatically.
Increase leadership’s confidence in data by delivering transparent lineage, automated quality checks, and clear narrative explanations.
Streamline tool ecosystems such as Jira, Workday, and Snowflake so teams can focus on building outstanding products instead of managing fields and forms.

Join the Product Operations team that drives standardization, accelerates delivery, and improves outcomes for more than 260 scrum teams and over 10,000 customers , advancing athenahealth’s vision of a thriving healthcare ecosystem. Product Operations is modernizing the way R&D works by weaving together best-in-class tooling, reliable data pipelines, agile best practices, and generative-AI. As a Senior Associate, you will immerse yourself in day-to-day pain points, liaise with internal technology partners to shape, test, and roll out enhancements, and own business requirements end-to-end. Your focus is to validate every change and ensure each release delivers measurable gains in productivity, data quality, and agile maturity for stakeholders.
