      Overview

      Responsible for general administrative and support services for the Ancillary Services Department and other tasks, as assigned.


      Responsibilities

      • Provides support services to the Ancillary Services Department for Paid vs Expected, Acquisitions, Start Ups, Relocations, Consolidations, Closures and DBA Changes.
      • Reviews Paid vs Expected Data as assigned to identify claims not reimbursed as expected to identify the root cause of the issue.
      • Coordinates setup of all systems utilized by Revenue Recovery for the billing and collections of claims for Acquisition and Start Up Care Centers.
      • Monitors billing for Acquisitions and Start Ups to ensure timely and accurate billing of all Payor Sources for Acquisition and Start Up Care Centers.
      • Generates reports that provide accurate records of billed and unbilled accounts for acquired locations, start-up locations and locations closing for managements review.
      • Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications

      Required-

      • High School Diploma or equivalent.
      • Three (3+) years' experience in healthcare revenue cycle support.

      Preferred-

      • Five (5+) years' experience in healthcare revenue cycle support.
