What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accurately assign ICD-10-CM, E/M, CPT, HCPCS, and ASA codes to anesthesia accounts following designated workflows
- Abstract and enter coded data for physician statistical and reporting requirements
- Query physicians to clarify conflicting or incomplete clinical information as needed
- Communicate documentation improvement opportunities and coding issues to relevant personnel
- Maintain consistent coding accuracy and productivity standards

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid CCS certification is mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years of coding experience required; Anesthesia Coding specialty experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience coding anesthesia records with a high degree of quality
- Ability to code for multiple clients as needs arise
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
