What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate library programming and services for communities in an assigned region
- Identify and travel to community locations to provide library services from an Anywhere Library vehicle or at pop-up library or program locations
- Provide information, reader's advisory, and circulation services to the community outside of a library facility
- Process and deliver materials between library locations and community stops
- Act as the person in charge of the Anywhere Library vehicle and ensure it is properly stocked and maintained
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of library, outreach, customer service, or community engagement experience for Anywhere Library Specialist
- Master's Degree in Library Science and at least six months of public library experience for Anywhere Librarian
- Valid Washington Driver's License and safe driving record
- Ability to work evenings and weekends and adapt to schedule changes on short notice
- State of Washington Librarian Certificate required for Librarian positions serving a community over 4,000 population
