- Develop a vision and strategy for the APAC HR Shared Services function aligned to business priorities. Ability to connect operational objectives with strategic business goals.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the APAC HR Shared Services Center including HR administration, tier 1 employee advice, simple policy interpretation etc. across multiple countries within the APAC region.
- Optimize regional processes and policies to maximize automation and self-service options.
- Partner with the HR Platforms team to implement global technologies and tools to enhance the service delivery, ensuring alignment and consistency at a global level, in collaboration with other regional SSC Managers & the Global Head of HR Shared Services.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators and service level agreements for the APAC HR Shared Services team to drive efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring consistency and standards of service.
- Build a customer service and solutions-oriented culture that operates within the APAC region.
- Partner with the APAC HR business partnering function across the APAC region to understand their needs and determine how HR Shared Services can support them, navigating country-specific requirements.
- Build trusted relationships and manage key stakeholders at all levels in the APAC HR function.
- Monitor the regional budget, costs, and resources required to deliver quality service within the APAC region, identifying opportunities to reduce costs through process and technology improvements.
- Keep up-to-date with trends and best practices in HR shared services and related technologies, continually enhancing the function's capabilities and service quality.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, demonstrating agility to changing business conditions, resources, and technologies inside a complex global organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR or related field, MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive APAC HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role managing HR services or shared services team across multiple countries.
- Experience working in a matrixed HR function environment.
- Expert knowledge of HR technologies and driving digitization of shared services functions
- Deep experience with data analytics, reporting and performance measurement (SLAs & KPIs)
- Excellent relationship management and strategic planning skills
- Strong business acumen with ability to link HR to business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience implementing process excellence frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, etc)
- A solution-focused approach to ensure queries from the business and other HR tiers are addressed in time.

About the Role
The APAC SSC Manager role, reporting to the Head of Global HR Shared Services, will lead a team of SSC advisors, providing centralized HR SSC services across the APAC region, supporting India, Australia/New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Greater China, and North Asia, to enable efficiency, standardization, and cost optimization.
