      Regional Travel Manager

      JLL’s global Corporate Procurement function spends over $1.2B annually across categories such as HR, Professional Services, Operations, Technology, Marketing and Travel and Fleet. The Corporate Procurement team has been growing over the past 2 years across all regions – Americas, EMEA & APAC. JLL has allocated resources to establish a well-structured and professionally managed travel program that aligns with the firm's evolving needs. We are seeking a dedicated Travel Manager who will play a key role in overseeing the program and ensuring an exceptional travel experience for our employees

      What this job involves:


      The Regional Travel Manager role sits within the Travel and Fleet procurement team, reporting to the global travel manager and oversees the planning and execution of the firms travel program. The role will work closely with category managers and country procurement managers in the corporate procurement team. The role will ensure regional support for our employees, alongside a responsibility to work with the internal travel helpdesk. Key focus topics will be on travel management company implementation, relationship building and the continuous evolution of the travel program. You will be the POC for the travel program in either EMEA or APAC.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Support the implementation of a global travel management company, alongside other key project personnel to hit internal and contractual timelines.
      • The role will have oversight, but not line management responsibility for a travel helpdesk, that supports the business on T&E questions, admin and reporting requirements.
      • Work in close collaboration with the travel and fleet category managers to maximize the value from our T&E spend.
      • Manage the regional TMC relationship and work closely with finance and category management to ensure that the commercial value of the contract is realized and SLA’s tracked
      • Act as point of escalation for travel champions, bookers when required providing responsiveness to the business in addressing queries
      • Play a key role in travel sourcing activity, providing insight and operational perspective on RFPs
      • Support the execution of all travel related internal communications: Updating engagement materials, policy, SharePoint, learning sessions, newsletters, etc
      • Ensure our travel management company data is accurate and feeding into internal dashboards, travel risk management suppliers, mobility and ESG platforms
      • Performance manager the travel management company and provide key travel metrics and benchmarking to internal stakeholders
      • Support our ESG teams in the carbon reporting processes for our annual sustainability report.
      • Support with supplier diversity and JLL’s sustainability programs; making sure that we work with ethical suppliers and standards.
      • Carry out supplier risk management and mitigation plans alongside the travel and fleet category managers.
      • Stay current with industry trends/innovation and identify opportunities to develop and implement new policies and procedures.

      • Has the ability to craft long term internal and external business relationships; cause and manage change; and provide leadership is essential
      • Ability to work on a regional scale in a matrix organization
      • Demonstrate a track record in managing a travel program to deliver value for a large organization and it’s end users
      • Excellent project management, analytical and presentation skills is a MUST
      • Resilient, and can remain focused on the big picture in the face of day to day noise.
      • Ability to influence and speak to key stakeholders across different level of seniority
      • Collaborative and influencing style with a focus on teamwork
      • Proven ability to deliver results in challenging environments yet with entrepreneurial spirit
      • Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications with excellent ability to work with large amounts of data and build reports
      • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college university
      • Minimum 3 years of experience in business travel management
