      Job Description

      SGS is currently looking to hire an API 570 Inspector for a long-term project. The work location is Coffeyville, Kansas. Inspection will start with Class 1 then progress into Class 2 piping.

      The Inspector will:

      • Perform API 570 external piping inspections.
      • Field walk circuits being inspected.
      • Identify deficiencies.
      • Complete inspection reports outlining results, recommendations, and repairs.
      • Write work orders from approved recommendations.
      • Enter information into PCMS from inspection.

      Qualifications

      • Must have API 570
      • Requires high school diploma or equivalent, technical school or college credits preferred.
      • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Inspector.
      • A minimum of 4 years of experience/ knowledge of PCMS is required
      • Must have knowledge and understanding of inspection methods and code requirements.
      • Be proficient with MS Word and Excel.
      • Be proficient in reading, correcting, and sketching inspection isometrics.
      • Be capable of self-managing time and productivity.
      • Strong organizational skills
      • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and written.
      • Have physical ability to climb, walk long distances, and perform work in outdoor elements.
      • Capable of working individually and as a team.
      • Annual salary will vary depending on experience (~140 to 160K/annually)
      • A per diem will be paid while at site in Coffeyville.
      • 9/80 schedule *may vary*
