Must be based in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX

Hybrid -> This position may require work from office 2 or 3 days a week on a as needed basis.

Job Description:

• At least 14+ years of IT development experience
• Must have experience in APIGEE Administration
• Assess API Maturity, Business Vison, Drivers & Initiatives.
• Discover & Define API Lifecycle Management Processes, Operating Model and RACI.
• Define API Enablement Processes and Best Practices.
• Discover API Requirements, Design and Build API Specifications o Implementation of 4 APIs and Promote to Stage Environment.
• Promotion of APIs to Production and Introspection.
• Extensive project experience with designing and implementing APIs using Apigee Edge Cloud/On-prim.
• Extensive experience with API Security (Oauth2, JWT, SMAL, Web SSO, TLS etc.), API Key Validation, TLS, Protection against Content-based Attacks, Authentication, Authorization and Identity, Traffic Management, Token Management Knowledge
• API best practices and performance tuning
• APIGEE API Analytics - generation of custom reports and integration with external tools like Splunk/Log rocket
• Developer portal setup and customization
• Experience of build and deployment methodologies with Apigee across environments.
• Experience on Implement and manage CI /CD pipeline for API proxies.

The annual salary for this position is dependent on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
