      Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Central North Carolina

      Award winning medical system in the Southeast is recruiting for an experienced Cardiology APP to serve the needs of the Scotland County community.       Position Highlights

      About the Position:

      • Combined Inpatient/Outpatient position, Mon-Fri schedule.
      • Inpatient responsibilities include new consults, stress and nuclear test supervision, follow-up visits, and early discharges.
      • Outpatient responsibilities include new patient clinic visits and follow-up visits along with timely administrative tasks in Epic EMR.
      • Full-service cardiology practice – 30+ experienced providers in 6 clinic locations supporting 5 hospitals in the region.
      • Be a member of the FirstHealth Physician Group, a team of 400+ hospital-employed providers.

      Qualifications

      • NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification.
      • PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
      • Prefer 2+ years of advanced practice experience Cardiology.
      • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making.
      • Clean background, NC licensure, NC DEA, and AHA BLS certification required . ACLS preferred.
