- Observation of court proceedings, witness interviews and conferences
- Drafting legal documents such as motions and briefs
- Drafting appellate briefs
- Digesting case records (school, medical, COI’s, forensic reports)
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal memoranda of law
- Factual and Legal cite checking
- Obtaining and copying court files
CLC is seeking enthusiastic and competent Legal Interns to support the day-to-day activities of our Appellate/Writing Unit.
The goals of a CLC internship are to learn the areas of the law in which we practice, gain hands-on experience and provide assistance to CLC staff, but more importantly our clients. After an orientation and training the intern will be paired with a mentor and will receive close supervision and training.
