What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management on all phases of the project development cycle
- Collaborate with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements
- Research and evaluate alternative solutions to recommend efficient and cost-effective system designs
- Document, test, implement, and provide ongoing support for applications
- Act as a technical resource to development staff throughout the development and implementation process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum of five years of diverse work experience in IT
- In-depth knowledge in Data Modeling, Data Integrations, APIs, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks
- Proficiency in a back-end programming language such as Python, Scala, Java, or Node.js
- Experience with database systems including Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL, and Unix/Linux based systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in a related field
- Experience with scripting in Unix/Linux environments
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of healthcare data systems and regulations
