Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to manage employees from various levels of management and non-management.
Excellent communication and people skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated project management skills, including the successful implementation of new systems and applications.
Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships in business and technology units to stay informed about changes affecting applications.
Proven experience in corporate-wide application lifecycle management, including planning, deployment, and decommissioning.
Successful management of multiple urgent requests while maintaining high-quality standards.
Direct involvement in cloud migration projects, particularly with VMware and Azure.
Direct project management experience, including planning, resource allocation and risk management.
Managing and maintaining both Windows and Linux server operating systems.
Building and nurturing stakeholders’ relationships across different areas.
Monitor changes affecting applications within business and technology units.
Firsthand experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Python, and Chef/Puppet.
Proficiency in installing, updating, and troubleshooting Commercial off-the-shelf software (COTS) which would be typical for a Financial Institution: including but not limited to Statistical software, Credit and OFAC software, Document imaging and retrieval software.
Solid understanding and direct involvement in cloud migration strategies and projects particularly with VMware and Azure platforms.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in cloud technologies, automation tools, and scripting languages.
Deep understanding of COTS management.
Proactive and adaptable mindset.
In-depth knowledge of application lifecycle management methodologies and best practices.
Comprehensive understanding of cloud migration strategies
Expertise in virtualization technologies and cloud computing.
Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Strong grasp of project management principles and tools.
Awareness of compliance and security standards.
Interdisciplinary knowledge to bridge gaps between business and technology units.

We are seeking an initiative-taking and technically proficient Application Lifecycle and Cloud Migration Engineer to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle of our corporate applications, managing cloud migration efforts, and ensuring the seamless operations through automation and troubleshooting. You will be tasked with supervising employees across various levels and maintaining key contacts to stay knowledgeable of changes affecting our applications. If you are a meticulous professional with expertise in managing both Windows and Linux operating systems, we encourage you to apply.
This role is Hybrid. You should be located within a committable distance to one of our offices located in Baltimore MD, Charlotte NC, Wilmington DE, Evansville IN, or Dallas/Fort Worth TX. Our colleagues are in the office a minimum of two days a week for dedicated collaboration.
