      About the Role:

      Sawdey is seeking an experienced Application Database Administrator to manage and support database schema administration in a complex client/server environment. This role involves long-range planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of database schemas to meet user, system, and security requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL-based environments and be well-versed in schema-level database controls, access permissions, and data quality auditing.

      Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

      • Design, create, and maintain complex database schemas in client/server environments
      • Coordinate with infrastructure DBAs to project long-term schema and data architecture requirements
      • Conduct quality control and auditing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and appropriate access
      • Advise users on schema access, structure, and best practices
      • Perform database programming using SQL, PL/SQL, and related languages
      • Ensure schema-level security, validation, performance optimization, and compliance documentation
      • Support system design through the development and maintenance of database objects and queries

      Experience Requirements:

      • 10 years of relevant database experience
      • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access
      • At least 3 years of hands-on expertise in database schema management

      Certificate, License, and Registration Requirements:

      • Sensitivity Level: IT-I (Critical-Sensitive)
      • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification
      • Computing Environment:
        • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) 12c or higher
        • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Foundations 2020 or higher
        • OCP WebLogic 11g or higher

      Other Required Skills & Abilities:

      • Experience with at least two large-scale database projects within a complex organizational environment
      • Familiarity with various operating systems and programming languages
      • Experience supporting DLA Energy Procurement systems, including BSM-E and EPST is preferred
      • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
      • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

      Security Clearance Requirements :

      Secret Clearance

      Other: IT-I clearance or SSBI

      US Citizenship Requirements:

      This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
