Application Developer (MES)

Om ons team te versterken in Delft, Emmen of Nieuw Bergen, Nederland. Als Application Developer ben je een essentieel lid van ons regionale IT-team en rapporteer je aan de IT Business Solution teamleider. Je belangrijkste rol is het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van applicaties die zijn afgestemd op Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) en productieomgevingen, verkoop, magazijn en R&D. Je zult je richten op onze locaties in Delft, Emmen of Nieuw Bergen, maar ook de bredere regio Noord-Europa ondersteunen.

Je zult betrokken zijn bij de volledige applicatieontwikkelingscyclus, van het verzamelen van gebruikersvereisten tot het ontwerpen, coderen, testen en implementeren van robuuste oplossingen. Samenwerken met IT-businesspartners en stakeholders om procesverbeteringen en best practices te bevorderen, zal een belangrijk aspect van je werk zijn. Je speelt een sleutelrol in het bevorderen van onze digitale transformatie door applicaties te creëren die gebruikmaken van nieuwe technologieën en duidelijke voordelen bieden.

Ervaring en vaardigheden vereist

Bachelor of hoger in IT, Computer Science of een aanverwant technisch veld.
Aantoonbare ervaring in applicatieontwikkeling binnen de industrie, MES- en productieomgevingen.
Vaardigheid in Visual Basic, SQL Server en databases, en bekendheid met hedendaagse ontwikkeltalen.
Sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden, in staat om complexe systemen en bedrijfsprocessen te begrijpen.
Ervaring met projectmanagement en een bewezen staat van dienst in het uitvoeren van IT- of bedrijfsverbeteringsprojecten.
Grote interesse in het bijhouden van de nieuwste IT- en digitale technologieën.
Uitzonderlijke communicatieve en presentatievaardigheden om effectief samen te werken met zakelijke stakeholders, eindgebruikers en technische teams in een internationale omgeving.

We are now looking for an

Application Developer (MES)

To join our team in Delft, Emmen, or Nieuw Bergen, Netherlands. As an Application Developer, you will be a vital member of our regional IT team, reporting to the IT Business Solution team lead. Your main role will be to develop and maintain applications tailored to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and production floor environments, sales, warehouse, and R&D. You will focus on our locations in Delft, Emmen, or Nieuw Bergen, while also supporting the broader North Europe region.

You will engage in the entire application development lifecycle, from gathering user requirements to designing, coding, testing, and deploying robust solutions. Collaborating with IT business partners and stakeholders to drive process enhancements and best practices will be a significant aspect of your job. You will be a key player in advancing our digital transformation by creating applications that utilize new technologies and provide clear benefits.

Experience and Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
Demonstrated experience in application development within industry MES and production floor environments.
Proficiency in Visual Basic, SQL Server, and Database, and familiarity with contemporary development languages.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of comprehending complex systems and business operations.
Experience in project management and a proven record of executing IT or business enhancement projects.
A keen interest in keeping abreast of the latest IT and Digital technologies.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams across an international landscape.
A flexible and patient demeanor with a strong commitment to assist.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
