  Role: .Net Application Developer – Intermediate
  Location: Edmonton, AB (Hybrid – Once/Week)
  Duration: 6-Months Contract with the possible extension.
  
  
  Job Description:
  The proposed resource must meet or exceed one of the following:
  • University graduation in computer science or a related discipline and 4-yr relevant experience.
  OR
  • 2-yr diploma in computer science or a related discipline and 6-yr relevant experience.
  OR
  • 1-yr certificate in computer science or a related discipline and 7-yr relevant experience.
  OR
  • a currently active professional certification or accreditation and 8-yr relevant experience
  
  Technical Skills:
  • 5 Years of experience developing any of the following: multi-user, n-tier, Object Oriented, Web Services, JSON, REST API applications using C#, .NET, ASP.net or Visual Studio.
  
  Work Experience:
  • 5 Years of experience developing or maintaining existing applications by using a standardized methodology (Agile Software Development, Waterfall, Joint Application Development, Rapid Application Development)
  • 5 Years of experience and technical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • 5 Years of experience in application maintenance and development that includes: writing, modifying, integrating, testing, and documenting software code.
  • 5 Years of experience in designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting applications in a controlled production environment.
  • 5 Years of experience using Team Foundation Server and/or Azure DevOps Server.
  • 3 Years of experience working in a government development environment or in an environment equivalent in size and complexity to the client.
  • 3 Years of experience developing and maintaining applications that use Oracle Database /11g/12c
  • 3 Years of experience developing and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET and ASP.MVC controls.
  • 3 Years of experience developing and maintaining web applications with JQuery / JavaScript
  • 4 Years of experience and technical knowledge using ASP.NET MVC (Model View Controller).
  • 3 Years of experience using a version-controlling tool (Tortoise GIT, Tortoise SVN and Version Manager and MS Azure DevOps).
  
  Nice to Have:
  • Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, troubleshoot, work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage stress and conflict.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
  The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management and vendors
