      Job Title- Application Developer (SAS/Mainframe) in Enterprise Services / Risk Services– Associate -

      Risk Services Team (Enterprise Services) (TDI- Private Bank-Products & Enterprises)

      Location- Pune

      Role Description:

      Our Risk Services team at Deutsche Bank part of Enterprise Services Domain - Private Bank (TDI) develops & maintains applications for Credit Monitoring and Reporting. Projects are generally announced on short notice. Quality and stability have priority together with time to market.

      As a Senior Engineer you will also work together with business and operation units and bring development skills to enforce the development team within a Squad. You will extensively make use and apply Continuous Integration tools and practices in the context of Deutsche Bank’s digitalization journey.

      Your key responsibilities:

      • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions using SAS.
      • Clean, preprocess, and analyse large datasets using SAS programming techniques such as data step programming, PROC SQL, and SAS macros.
      • Develop and maintain SAS code, scripts, and queries to automate data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes.
      • Design and create visualizations, dashboards, and reports using SAS Visual Analytics to communicate insights and key findings to stakeholders.
      • Perform statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and data mining using SAS to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in business data.
        Conduct ad-hoc analysis and data investigations to answer business questions and support decision-making.
      • Collaborate with IT and other teams to integrate SAS analytics solutions with existing systems and processes.
      • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in SAS analytics and data analysis techniques.
      • Support for all activities associated with Project Lifecycle in different Phases.
      • Shares regular project updates with the stakeholders and highlights the risk if any.

      Your skills and experience:

      • Bachelor's degree in B.Tech/B.A ,Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
        Proven experience as a SAS Business Analyst or similar role, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in data analysis and SAS programming.
      • Proficiency in SAS programming language, including data step programming, PROC SQL, SAS macros, and SAS Visual Analytics.
      • Should have good knowledge on SAS on mainframe including JCL.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
      • Experience in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and data visualization using SAS.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
      • Certification in SAS programming or SAS analytics (e.g., SAS Certified Base Programmer, SAS Certified Predictive Modeler) is a plus.
