      Application Engineer (AEWEB)


      Application support for motorsports simulation and race execution tools – including user support, tool development, and management of resources for development.

      System administration of Windows, Linux, and cloud computing operating environments for use in motorsports applications.

      Maintain CI and CD tools with team.

      Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.

      System modeling and optimization through the use of industry standard and customized solutions.

      Correlation of models to physical motorsports vehicles to ensure high quality results.

      Improve infrastructure of models and tools.

      Provide on-site support for model development, execution and test/race
      execution – work within the motorsports team as an integral subject matter expert.

      Process optimization to improve the efficiency and accuracy of motorsports tools.

      Build workflows and optimizations to improve throughput and allow the engineer to focus on total system optimization.

      Monitor performance metrics for both the vehicle and process to improve the
      tools and ultimate decision making process.

      Document various process to improve educational material for new deployments.

      Follow all best practices and procedures as established by company.

      Be part of a rotating on-call race weekend support schedule.

      Provide on-site support for vehicle operation and process tracking. Operational process and vehicle development tracking and documentation.

      Infield support of customer support tools and hardware


      Master Degree in Motorsports, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

      Three months of experience in the position offered, or in a similar position, such as Intern (Simulation).


      Experience must include developing simulation toolsets in MATLAB GUI in order to perform vehicle dynamics performance analysis and assisting with DiL testing.

      Pay Range:

      $78,400.00 - $121,500.00

      The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
