The Cost Transformation Team at easyJet plays a critical role in driving our low-cost model and delivering our cost strategy, aiming to significantly improve our market cost position. With a target of delivering over £500M in initiative savings over the next five years, we are dedicated to making travel both easy and affordable.
As part of the FP&A department, the team partners with various business units—such as flight operations, ground handling, customer service, engineering, and procurement—to understand their largest cost drivers, prioritise impactful initiatives and facilitate tracking to maximise benefits. We are looking for a Cost Transformation Manager to engage with senior management and project owners, supporting them in achieving their transformation targets and ensuring cost improvement plans drive financial impact.Reporting to the Head of Cost Transformation, the Cost Transformation Manager will maintain influential cross-functional relationships within Finance and with directors and project owners across the organisation. Responsibilities include providing analysis for initiative business cases, summarising initiatives for executive review, calculating KPI baselines, and developing estimates of financial benefits.

The role also involves refining initiatives, conducting trend and variance analysis, facilitating innovation workshops, and supporting business leaders in monthly performance reviews. Additionally, the manager will handle ad-hoc projects related to cost drivers, benchmarking, fleet analysis, and automation to continuously enhance cost performance and culture.What you need to do the role
We are seeking a professionally qualified individual in a commercial or technical discipline to join our team. While experience with projects, business improvement, or change management programs is beneficial, it is not essential. The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify, quantify, and communicate financial benefits to non-financial stakeholders.
Building relationships and influencing stakeholders to ensure the integrity of their inputs is crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office at an intermediate to advanced level is required. A background in cost management is preferred, but a keen interest in cost-related work is essential.What you’ll get in return

This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office.
