- You are key provider of the Specifications (Raw Materials & Packaging Materials) as per the Nestle Standards.
- In case of local Materials, ensure that the Specifications are adapted and aligned with the Market regulation and compliant.
- You will be the Driver of the approval process of the local suppliers (Packaging materials) and ensure compliance to Nestle Standards.
- In the installation phase, you will support providing the Production requirement for full compliance and easy startup and performance of the lines as per the targets. Standard procedures readiness is a key enabler.
- Team building and Knowledge transfer to the shopfloor is a key ask in this function.
- Provide the Nestle specifications (Raw & Packaging Materials) to different stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance of these specifications to local legislations.
- Drive and Support approval of local suppliers, define action plans and ensure proper execution with Suppliers.
- Prepare the training tools (SOPs, Modules and Plans) to ensure knowledge transfer to the shopfloor. Establish the Standard procedures in preparation of the startup.
- Prepare and support a smooth and vertical startup.
- Ensure Material specifications (Raw & Pack) are updated and adapted during the project to ensure product/packaging compliance.
- Document the transfer of knowledge and operational procedures for the industrialization of new products.
- Provide technical packaging/Product expertise and leadership in the project phase as well as in future renovations.
- Ensure and monitor the safety (Raw and Packaging Materials) and compliance requirement for the factory (DOC, surveillance plans, audits)
- Ensure state of the art Process and Packaging installations; identify improvements/ opportunities and validate solutions through CTAG/TCU network prior to implementation.
- Lead root cause analysis of identified process issues and ensure the implementation of corrective actions via tools (e.g. DMAIC) within a timeframe.
- Increase the Material (RM & PM) knowledge levels within the factory through training
- Identify the suited materials (RM & PM) for an efficient equipment operation and product quality at optimum costs.
- Min. 3-4 years of experience in Nutrition with background of biology, pharmacy, chemistry, or similar field of study.
- Good knowledge of raw and packaging materials and Process operation units.
- Project planning and project execution experience is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Strong written and oral communication skills.

Full-Time ContractReports to: Operations Start-up Manager (functionally dotted to Application Group and Packaging in MENA)
Note: This is an opportunity starting with the project and preparing the factory startup, however, once the project is completed, the job opportunities in the factory will be available with preference for the project team to join the factory structure, considering sustained performance during the project.
Due to nationalization, we only consider Saudi national.

We are looking for a product and packaging specialist with basic knowledge in chemistry/ food, with experience in Projects / Operations management in a food industry facility, to join Nestle in a Green Field Project Team where Nestle is investing to build a new Factory in Saudi.
In this role, you will act as key player to ensure compliance first time of the ingredients and process during project phase, prepare the startup and ensure readiness as per the target timeline (Training and people development is a key action in the Project phase). One of the key deliverables in this project is to assess and develop local suppliers specifically for packaging materials.
