Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Application Manager . Position based at company headquarters located at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis , MN 55402 . Telecommuting available anywhere in the U.S.
Essential Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and control project/product budgets. Manage multiple development projects, development teams, and/or application support functions. Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Oversee the development and implementation of multiple, complex, organization-wide systems. Work closely with client departments in development and implementation of technology strategies and application systems. Advise application owners on the technology possibilities and requirements. Provide direction and oversight for application support functions to ensure quality processing while meeting or exceeding application service level commitments. Define and manage resource requirements and allocations. Monitor and improve quality and ensure 'best practice' development techniques. Interface with clients to ensure application systems and projects are meeting or exceeding their expectations. Provide direction and manage resolution of applications issues. Manage staff and recommends hires, transfers, terminations, performance standards, and reviews .
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a M aster’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study and 3 years of experience in any related occupation in which the required experience can be gained .
Alternate requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study and 5 years of (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience in any related occupation in which the required experience can be gained .
Required Skills/Experience:
Position requires experience with the following: (1) WCAG Compliance testing tools; (2) Screen Readers; (3) Managing a small to medium size team of specialists; (4) Built in accessibility tools for iOS, Android, OSX, and Windows; (5) Reviewing tools and applications in service of A11Y testing; (6) Testing and developing standards according to WCAG guidelines; and (7) Developing, implementing, and delivering new or enhanced applications.
Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $ 184,870 - $190,400 .
