- define and implement the pricing strategy & maintenance globally.
- develop value based pricing tools and take part in value selling activities.
- maintain marketing tools and market analysis (customer share of wallet, full market potential, product brochures).
- be responsible for Business monitoring & planning (margin forecasting, sales and operational planning).
- contribute to the global marketing strategy & value proposition evolution.
- drive innovation and new product development based upon technology push opportunities and detailed understanding of market needs.
- develop and execute a roadmap towards a circular product portfolio and business model
- contribute to global pipeline and business cases management.
- manage projects (geographical expansion, lean manufacturing, grades transition, etc.).
- steer a team of multi-functional experts to coordinate application marketing activities
- University degree (or equivalent) in business administration/commercial
- Min. 10 years working experience
- Mastery of the English language at business level
- Proven experience with specialty product marketing
- Passionate about value based pricing
- Financial literacy
- Business acumen and specific commercial expertise within defined business segment
- Understanding of the structure of the market and the factors that influence demand and profitability
- Technical and commercial understanding of the products and their applications and proven ability to translate this into value added contribution to outperform competition
- Strategic understanding of customers and other value chain members needs and the ability to match this with Borealis technical capabilities
- Ability to align market needs with assets, innovation and other internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of marketing and sales management techniques
- Customer relationship skills
- Presentation and project management skills
- Team player, self-managed

As Application Marketing Manager, you will be a major contributor to the achievement of profitability and volume targets for your Industry Cluster. You will act as an ambitious and driven Business Manager, who is responsible for product mix, promotion, strategic price and place. Defining the application strategy and driving business performance in accordance with the overall approach dictated by the positioning of the application in the respective industry segment, are further challenging task you are about to face.

Your salary package will reflect your profile, experience and the specifics of the country/location you apply for.
Should you join us in one of our Austrian locations and according to Austrian law , we offer compensation based on the collective labor agreement starting at EUR 100.000 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) plus a yearly bonus, and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background.
