As the Application Support Analyst at Crescent Electric, you will support Enterprise applications that are used by business units across the organization. You will play a key role in providing end user support and leveraging technology to address business challenges, facilitate business strategy and improve performance.

LOCATION:

• This position is remote based with a location in the Midwest preferred.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Provide application support to end users for assigned Enterprise Applications addressing questions, concerns and issues related to the applications.

• Understand application functionality and its impact to the business and business processes.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to applications, working to restore functionality and minimize downtime.

• Partner with the business stakeholders to document requests for changes, updates and projects. Create a roadmap for the work and prioritize it in partnership with them.

• Coordinate upgrades working with Project Managers where applicable and business unit employees as needed. Review release notes and facilitate business meetings to communicate new functionality that will impact them.

• Keep abreast of new developments in the information technology field and within the applications and strive to continually improve the technology delivered to support the business.

• Research and recommend software solutions and assess their effectiveness in solving technical issues, business challenges and improving efficiency.

• Monitor application usage, security roles and availability.

• Create and maintain strong vendor relationships and partner with business stakeholders to manage open tickets.

• Document application configurations, integrations, troubleshooting procedures and other processes as applicable.

• Travel to site locations to provide additional support, as needed.

SKILLS:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of personnel.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Knowledge of application systems, computer operations, and common business processes.

• Ability to address common Enterprise Application issues and elevate more complex problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience working with Enterprise Applications

• Knowledge of Workday, Epicor Eclipse, Salesforce, preferred

• Working knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry, preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Occasionally standing and walking. Most of the time sitting, use of hands/fingers, and talking/hearing. Often reaching with hands/arms.

• Close vision needed (clear vision at 20 inches or less) to be able to view computer screen.

• May be required to work more than 40 hours per week.

• On occasion weekend work may be necessary.

• Ability to travel often within the assigned territory, and occasionally travel to attend company and vendor activities and events, as needed.

Pay Details: $61,000 - $75,000 annually
