  About the Role:
  We are looking for a Lead Technical Event Producer to join our Conferencing & Media Services team. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end success of the productions of some of Client's largest virtual and hybrid company events, ensuring seamless execution, high production value, and exceptional online attendee experiences. You will play a key role in driving engagement for our quarterly in-person and online company all-hands and marquee events by leveraging cutting-edge event technologies, live streaming platforms, and interactive digital experiences. This role reports to the Manager of Conferencing & Media Services and must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
  
  What You Will Do:
  • Lead the technical production and coordination with Client's internal customers for virtual and hybrid events, ensuring seamless integration of live Zoom meetings and Webinars, interactive content, and audience engagement tools.
  • Develop and implement an event technology strategy aligned with Client's brand, products, and business objectives.
  • Lead all aspects of event production, including platform selection, budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, speaker logistics, video editing & publishing, and real-time troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Corporate Communications, Video Conferencing Operations, Executive Support, and Client Leadership Teams) to ensure events deliver strategic value and align with company goals.
  • Oversee technical rehearsals, speaker coaching, and content delivery, ensuring presentations, panels, and live demos run smoothly across different platforms.
  • Liaise with senior leadership to align on event goals, provide regular updates, and deliver postevent insights and recommendations.
  • Analyze key event performance metrics and produce detailed post-event reports with insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations in virtual and hybrid event production to keep Client's events at the forefront of the digital event space.
  • Develop best practices, documentation, and technical workflows for event production.
  
  About You:
  • A seasoned event support producer, engineer, and video editor with 8+ years of experience in virtual and hybrid event production.
  • At least 5 + years of professional experience editing and publishing commercial or corporate video content.
  • Highly proficient in live streaming platforms (e.g., Restream, Vimeo, YouTube Live), virtual event platforms (e.g., Hopin, ON24, Zoom Webinars), and media production workflows.
  • Skilled at troubleshooting technical issues in high-pressure live event environments.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Passionate about delivering innovative, engaging, and technically flawless online event experiences.
  • Comfortable working with executive stakeholders and high-profile speakers.
  • A problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  
  Additional Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in event management, preferably with a focus on corporate events.
  • Experience creating cinematic style trailers, short form videos, and presentation videos highly desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop unique event concepts and overcome challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure flawless event execution.
  • Ability to travel if needed for event execution.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in event management and video editing.
  • Professionalism and the ability to represent the company and our team in a positive manner.
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems, video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex), digital signage solutions, networked AV environments, and production tools.
  • Hands-on experience with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, Neat, Poly, DTEN), sound mixing, video switching, and streaming technologies.
