      Job Description

      The Applications Developer - Workday ERP Development Support position performs complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of reports and integrations for university-wide cloud-based academic resource management systems. Designs, tests, develops, and documents critical and complex application programs for University’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Establishes project standards and processes so as to maintain a high-level of integrity and functionality of our Workday System and its various configurations and applications. Use object-oriented design, patterns and programming in programs such as ASP.NET, C#, Java, JQuery, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, MySQL, and Visual Studio to develop integrations to our Workday system as well as other related applications. The applicant will need to be able to communicate clearly, concisely and accurately to FHSU faculty, staff, and students.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, or closely related field.
      • Two years programming experience.
      • Experience with Object Oriented Programming, including C#, Java, JQuery, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and MySQL.
      • Experience with integrating data to and from a corporate ERP system.

      Remote work is permitted, but the candidate must be available to travel to Hays, Kansas approximately 5% of the time for on-campus meetings and trainings.
