      Here’s the Gist:

      We are hiring active college students who are interested in working full time in a paid, 1 1 -week internship for Wolfspeed during the summer of 2024.

      Our Wolfspeed Summer Internship Program inspires contribution, culture and community. We’ll help you gain valuable work experience by enhancing your knowledge while cultivating the skills you need to be successful. We welcome people with a passion for innovation, a spirit of curiosity, and a commitment to excellence.

      Your day-to-day work within each internship will vary depending on the area of Wolfspeed you join.

      During your summer internship, you will :

      • Complete meaningful projects

      • Build and support a test setup in the power electronics lab

      • Collect and process the obtained data

      • Create a comprehensive report and discuss results

      • Engage with leaders, colleagues and mentors to network and learn

      • Participate in professional development opportunities

      • Actively live Wolfspeed’s value pairs of safety, integrity & respect, ownership & accountability and ingenuity & passion.

      Our Wolfspeed Summer Internship Program is Especially Right for You if You Are:

      • Pursuing a degree in Power Electronics

      • Have lab experience, semiconductor experience, double pulse testing experience, and have worked with oscilloscope

      • Returning to an academic program in Fall 2024

      • Experience through previous internships or co-ops

      • Ecstatic for the opportunity to interact with a global team

      • Able to think on your feet and brainstorm fresh ideas

      • An analytical and critical thinker with a drive for problem-solving

      • A motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills

      • Curious about new technological advancements and eager for the opportunity to make an impact and grow your career

      Internship Dates: Tuesday, May 28th -Friday, August 8th OR Monday, June 17th – Friday, August 30th

      The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.

      Compensation Range:

      $16.35 - $49.95 / hour
