The Appraisal Coordinator is responsible for managing appraisal orders and proactive communication to sales and ops partners. This position takes direction from the Appraisal Production Team Lead and is responsible for handling orders from order to delivery while providing superior customer service

Essential Functions:

• Provide excellent customer appraisal services to business partners .
• Properly place and follow up on appraisal orders from initial order to final delivery.
• Follows up with appraisal management companies (AMC’S) to ensure appraisal fees and appraisal completion times are met and continue to keep the appraisal order moving forward.
• Source additional appraisal options with other appraisal management companies for best results.
• Update sales proactively with appraisal order status, turn times, excepted delivery date, and any actions that require attention in a timely manner.
• Initiative COC’S in Encompass when applicable.
• Communicate any SLA issues to direct manager.
• Serve as a department SME and assist in UAT when applicable.
• Assist in other duties, initiatives, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years’ experience in residential mortgage lending a Plus
• Must be able to stay organized and multitask.
• Comfortable in front of a camera using Teams or similar in all meetings and colleague interaction.
• Must be able to prioritize work daily and understand importance of urgent requests
• Encompass Experience a Plus.
