Job Title: Apprentice Air Conditioning Engineer
Based at JLL on site at Rolls-Royce.

We are currently seeking an Apprentice Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team in Bristol. This apprenticeship program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain practical experience and expand their knowledge in the field of Air Conditioning engineering on a four-year program. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the apprentice will support various Air Conditioning engineering projects across our portfolio of commercial real estate properties whilst working towards becoming a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer.
The role will require 4 days per week in our offices and one day per week at college to complete the Refrigeration air conditioning and heat pump engineering technician (level 3) training course.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist Air Conditioning engineers with the design, installation, and maintenance of Air Conditioning systems in commercial buildings.
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including routine inspections and testing of Air Conditioning equipment.
3. Assist in troubleshooting Air Conditioning faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
4. Read and interpret Air Conditioning drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
6. Maintain accurate records of Air Conditioning maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
7. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Air Conditioning engineering and recommend process improvements.
Requirements:
1. GCSE English – grade C. Maths – grade C
2. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Health and safety-conscious mindset.
