Metso is looking for an Apprentice Engineering Patternmaker to join their team in Ballina, New South Wales.

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE

• Perform specific engineering measurements as required in the Foundry.
• Liaise with the Patternshop Team Leader about pattern designs.
• Be responsible by following instructions under a professionally structured training programme.
• Use a range of tools, equipment and machinery in the production process of making patterns for casting in the foundry.
• Identifying casting defects and learning how to eliminate them.

• A desire and drive for process improvement.
• Ability to set priorities and accomplish tasks within set timelines.
