      Position Summary

      The Data Analyst Apprenticeship is an entry-level position within Nestlé IT geared toward building upon the foundations of a career as a Data Analyst. As an Apprentice, you will complete the Open Classrooms Data Analyst Registered Apprenticeship training program while simultaneously working for Nestlé IT in the context of a 12-month contingent contract. You will earn a stipend during the training program. The program rhythm consists of one day of online technical training, working one-on-one with a mentor, and four days of on-the-job training per week. The 12-month competency-based training program includes on-the-job training and a technical training program.

      • Analyze data to identify trends, relationships, and quality among variables.
      • Prepare and evaluate data to determine the effect on designs or plans and the appropriate methods for data analysis.
      • Prepare analytical reports and graphics to present research results to others.
      • Design research studies to obtain scientific information.
      • Apply mathematical principles or statistical approaches to solve problems.
      • Evaluate project designs to determine adequacy or feasibility.
      • Implement security measures for computer or information systems.
      • Write computer programming code and design software applications.
      • Communicate with various teams to gather necessary information.
      • Present well-developed points and findings.


      Requirements

      • High school diploma, vocational certificate, or equivalent education
      • 1+ years of combined academic and/or professional experience in Microsoft Excel


      Other

      • Mathematical background is preferred (fundamentals of probability, statistics, and linear algebra)
      • 1+ years of experience with programming language (i.e. SQL, Python, etc.) is preferred
      • 1+ years of experience with manipulating data (i.e. Excel, BI tool, etc.) is preferred
      • Basic Power BI and/or Tableau experience is preferred
      • Self-Organization skills are preferred
