The below Apprenticeship programs will be based in Sydney, commencing in February 2025, so get ready to kick start your career with NSW’s leading Transport Agency, Transport for NSW!

• Electrical Apprenticeship

• Painter and Decorator Apprenticeship

• Fitter Apprenticeship

No previous experience is required – you’ll learn everything you need to know throughout the program.

Get paid to develop in-demand skills and gain valuable experience within a government agency.

About you:

You’re a team player, with a great attitude and hold yourself accountable for doing your best in school, work, and play. You enthusiastically seek out new opportunities to learn and have a good grip on your time management and prioritisation skills.

• You are an Australian/NZ citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident

• You have completed Year 10 or hold a Record of School Achievement (RoSA) or equivalent

• You are able to commence full time employment in February 2025

• You possess or are in the process of obtaining C class driver’s licence

• You have access to reliable transport to travel to the office or depot

• You are comfortable with working at heights, in confined spaces or within live traffic as required in the role

• You are aware that travel is required as part of this role

• You have proven basic computer literacy

What’s on Offer?

• 3-4 year fixed term full-time Apprenticeship

• Certificate III (in your chosen discipline) through structured in person classes at TAFE

• Applying the knowledge gained through your studies into practical skills and on-the-job experience

• Develop your soft skills like communication, problem solving and teamwork
