- Line manages apprenticeship team and apprentice caseloads
- Ensure apprenticeship funding and eligibility rules are adhered to
- Produce timely business critical report and progress analysis
- Create and maintain an efficient work plan practicing effective time management and cost effectiveness
- Manage the recording of apprentices’ progress reviews in line with funding rules
- Experience in managing a team delivering apprenticeships
- Experience in preparing for an OFSTED inspection
- Functional Skills level 2 maths and English or equivalent
- Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievements – or equivalent e.g. CAVA, A1, D32
- Minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training – or equivalent. Level 4 Quality Assurance. Level 5 Management Qualification.

The role
As an Apprenticeship Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will support trainee firefighters through the level-3 Operational Firefighter Apprenticeship standard.Day to day, you will manage and co-ordinate the apprenticeships team to support trainee firefighters through the level 3 Operational Firefighter Apprenticeship standard. This role will work with other stakeholders both internal and external to ensure a quality provision to apprentices, always putting the quality of education first.
This role is full time, based on site, working 37.5 hours per week.Essential experience of the Apprenticeship Manager
Qualifications for the Apprenticeship Manager
The successful candidate must be able to achieve DBS security clearance for this role.
