What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise a unit of APS Investigators providing adult protective services
- Assign cases to staff and monitor cases to resolution and closure
- Resolve problems and questions presented by staff regarding work methods and processes
- Instruct staff members in the use of methods, procedures, rules, and regulations
- Review reports, make corrections, and write detailed summaries
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Gerontology, Healthcare, Public Administration, or a related field and 2 years’ professional case management/investigation experience
- OR 4 years’ experience providing professional case activities noted above
- Demonstrated experience in supervising, mentoring, or serving as a Standard Work Champion
- In-state travel is required, and a valid driver’s license is necessary
- Must pass background and reference checks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2 years of experience in case management or investigation
- Knowledge of social work practices and principles in adult protective services
