What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform accounts receivable billing functions related to grants, rebates, and construction services
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to collect due balances
- Process payment applications
- Assist in pulling and electronic filing of documentation
- Assist in answering accounts receivable related questions
- Prepare and organize documentation for audits and reports
- Complete other ad hoc assignments as determined by management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of background in deadline-driven accounts receivable
- 3+ years of experience with debt collection
- 3+ years of experience with accounting functions related to government grants
- 1+ years of experience working with Sage Intacct software
- 3+ years of experience with standard accounting functions related to construction
- Demonstrable experience providing excellent customer service
- Advanced analytical and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Industry standard competency with Excel and Outlook
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Knowledge of construction accounting
- Experience with collections and billing in the green energy or sustainability industry
- Proficiency in SAGE Intacct software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
