      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Obtain and record all necessary authorizations for radiation treatment and services
      - Follow up on Accounts Receivable for the Radiation department, including contacting insurance companies for non-payment of claims
      - Coordinate with physicians and physicists for authorization requests and peer-to-peer reviews
      - Resolve patient billing complaints and ensure accuracy in patient accounts
      - Review and analyze EOBs (remittances) to ensure proper reimbursement of claims

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or Equivalent
      - Minimum of two years of authorization and/or accounts receivable follow-up experience, preferably in a medical and/or oncology setting
      - Strong ability to communicate professionally with patients and insurance companies
      - Familiarity with medical guidelines and insurance policies
      - Capability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient account status

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working in a Radiation Department or similar healthcare setting
      - Knowledge of Mosaiq or similar medical record systems
      - Familiarity with interpreting fee schedules and reimbursement processes
      - Proficiency in handling sensitive financial matters with professionalism
      - Previous experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment
