      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Accounts Receivable Cash duties include:

      • Learning all functions of AR Cash
      • Post ACH, Credit Cards, Lockbox and Mail Deposits received from customers into our Accounting Software
      • Ensure that the monies posted to accounts receivable equal the bank deposit
      • Accurately post weekly adjustments to accounts receivable
      • Research payments while working with other departments
      • Performs other duties as assigned by management

      PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

      • Minimum 2-4 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
      • Must be extremely organized and detailed oriented
      • Knowledge/experience within a mechanical contracting firm a plus.
      • Excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office software applications.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and able to interact with all levels of the organization with a positive, engaging, proactive and team based style.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, team player attitude and professional appearance are a must.
      • Strong work ethic.
      • Occasional overtime is required.
