- Accomplishes accounts receivable human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
- Meets accounts receivable operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
- Meets accounts receivable financial standards by providing annual accounts receivable budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
- Collects accounts by contacting customers referred by clerks; investigating circumstances of non-payment; negotiating and resolving conflicts; expediting payment.
- Supports financial planning by forecasting cash.
- Updates receivables by coordinating and monitoring daily sales order processing and bank remittance transactions.
- Maintains financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls.
- Maintains accounting ledgers by posting monthly account transactions.
- Manage all aspects of the cash application process
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Ensures all department projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives
- Implements and maintains department policies and standards
- Other Duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in collections/credit and supervisory role
- Strong written communication and verbal skills
- Knowledge of processing payments through customer portal
- Familiarity with NetSuite preferred
- Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self
- Computer literacy required; including (intermediate or advanced skills in) Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills, organizational, and detailed oriented
- Advanced written and oral communication skills; detail oriented and strong organizational skills
- Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities, and work with a sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeed
- Required to sit, talk or hear; frequently required to use hands to grip or feel; and occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Vision and depth perception suitable for use of utilizing a computer, printer, phone, and keyboard
- Manual dexterity suitable for use of utilizing a computer
- Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes which permits the employee to work in an office setting
- Ability to walk and/or climb 5% of the time comfortably, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to sit at a computer for 90% of the time comfortably, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Light to moderate lifting
- Must be comfortable working in an office environment to include moderate noise levels
- The working area is primarily in an open office setting with reasonable lighting and controlled temperatures

Summary: Obtains revenue by processing invoices; resolving missed payments; updating financial records; supervising staff.
Salary range: $72,000 to $90,000, depending on experience.
Location: Fully onsite in Carlsbad, CA
