What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the review and response to disputed out-of-network reimbursements
- Manage an inventory of disputes during the open negotiation period
- Analyze and respond to Notice of offer requests using proprietary programs
- Negotiate offers with non-initiating parties to achieve favorable settlements
- Ensure compliance with privacy, legal, and HIPAA standards in documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- An associate’s degree in business administration or a health-related field; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5-7 years of related experience, including at least one year of anesthesia billing/posting/coding
- Knowledge of state and federal arbitration processes and IDX
- Intermediate skill level in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
