      Responsibilities

      We currently have a great opportunity available for a Innovation Solution Architect. The Innovation Solution Architect spearheads data analytics investigations by leveraging data science principles, oversees the management and processing of data, and crafts proof-of-concept applications. This role actively fosters collaboration with external experts, ensuring that all investigations address both business and technical objectives. Moreover, they are committed to systematically documenting insights and code, adeptly bridging the gap between analysis functions and stakeholders, and continuously engaging with emerging data analytics technologies to fuel innovation within the organization. Furthermore, the Innovation Solution Architect champions the transfer of knowledge, managing project plans for proof-of-concept initiatives, guiding them to timely completion.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      1. Applies data science principles, including AI and machine learning, to lead technical investigations, ensuring alignment with both business and technical objectives.2. Creates, establishes, and maintains a data warehouse for the Innovation Team, facilitating secure and efficient extraction and management of data from various field-based devices and systems.3. Engages in active collaboration with customers and researchers, integrating external expert guidance and insights into assigned initiatives.4. Provides expert insights and support during technical evaluations and manages the technical aspects of proof-of-concept initiatives, focusing on mitigating risks, driving technological innovation, and ensuring timely completion.5. Systematically captures and disseminates key insights from the Innovation Team's investigations. Ensures transparency and traceability of all work through comprehensive documentation, utilizing tools such as Jupyter notebooks and Jupyter books, facilitating effective knowledge sharing with other technical leaders within the organization.6. Acts as a liaison between stakeholders and the technical team, adeptly translating business requirements into viable, innovative technical concepts and solutions.7. Stays abreast of emerging trends and technologies, leveraging this knowledge to foster innovation.8. Facilitates the transfer of technical knowledge among development teams and other stakeholders, promoting a shared understanding of technical approaches and solutions.9. Proactively creates, drives, and manages project plans for assigned proof-of-concept initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines and delivery of expected outcomes.10. Other duties as required.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science required. 10-15 years of previous experience in hands-on software development required.
      • Data Science or Data Analysis Certifications desired

      • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

      • Experience using design tools and IDEs (Visual Studio, etc.)

      • Wide experience with client server and cloud development.

      • Demonstrated domain specific knowledge in multiple technologies, including but not limited to:o Microsoft .NET framework, Linux o API programming - REST and other technologies.o databases - Relational and NoSQLo Python development with ML and AI librarieso Jupyter Lab and Jupyter Books
      • Excellent team player.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Business acumen in the middleware and medical device industry.
